Harwich Conservation Trust has until Jan. 10, 2017 to raise the funds necessary toHCT-Marini_overview-map_29March2016_opt purchase & preserve 17 acres in Harwich and Chatham with 1,400 feet of shoreline on Muddy Creek (Monomoy River) that flows into Pleasant Bay.

If we don’t save this land, it could become a 12-lot subdivision sending nutrients into the tidal river and Pleasant Bay.

The total campaign goal is $1.6 million.

The Town of Harwich has committed $500,000.

And if we raise $550,000, we have a group of challenge donors who will match every donation dollar-for-dollar up to that $550,000 amount.

So, your donation will be matched!
