VIDEO: Save the Date of Sept. 9th for the Wildlands Music & Art Stroll
Make sure to make time for the upcoming 5th Annual “Wildlands Music & Art Stroll” on Saturday, Sept. 9th (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.) where you can leisurely walk trails and experience live music while artists paint the landscape around you. Just park in the back of Monomoy Regional High School at 75 Oak Street in Harwich and then board the shuttle bus, which will take you to the event held at HCT’s 66-acre Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve in Harwich Port. At the event, the suggested admission donation is just $5.00 per person.
Watch as artists from the Guild of Harwich Artists paint the scenic landscape live or ‘en plein air.’ The original paintings by the artists will be available for purchase through our raffle held during the Wildlands Music & Art Stroll. Meanwhile, listen to local musicians play jazz, classical, and folk music on the original “piano in the woods” as well as guitar, accordion, fiddle, clarinet, and many other instruments. Ice cream will be available for sale provided by The Local Scoop!
Local musicians who will be sharing their talents include Jordan Renzi, Kathleen Healy, Just Plain Folk, The Celtic Roots, Tom Leidenfrost, the Uke-Clectics, and many more.
Remember, just park in the back of Monomoy Regional High School at 75 Oak Street in Harwich and then board the event shuttle bus. Don’t miss this outdoor experience blending music, art & nature!
