Join in welcoming the fall harvest season with a tour of the Cape Abilities farm in Dennis. Co-sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust (HCT), Dennis Conservation Land Trust (DCLT), and Cape Abilities, tour the Cape Abilities Farm on Route 6A on Saturday, June 8th (8:30 to 9:30 a.m.) with James Barnes, Director of Social Enterprise with Cape Abilities. Since 2006, Cape Abilities Farm has been providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities while also acting as a hub in the Cape Cod community to promote local sustainable farming. The farm provides fresh, pesticide-free produce and flowers to the public through two Cape Abilities stores, farmers’ markets, restaurants, and local food pantries. Cost is $10 per person with proceeds benefiting HCT, DCLT, and Cape Abilities. Space is limited.
