Mayo Beach Hike
What a beautiful day it was for the Mayo Beach Hike led by Mark McGrath and sponsored by Wellfleet Conservation Trust and HCT. Bright blue skies and sunshine greeted eager walk participants as they embarked on a trek from the Great Island parking area to Wellfleet Harbor. Along the way, they learned about local history including about the Chequessett Neck Inn, enjoyed bayside views, and passed the site of two Edward Hopper paintings and several oyster farms.
