Native & Invasive Plant Walk with Theresa Sprague
Exploring the Pleasant Bay Woodlands, Theresa Sprague led a walk on Sept. 10th to share her expertise about native and invasive plants. Wandering along old cartpaths and woodland trails, Theresa talked about how invasive plants cause problems for our native plants, how to control specific invasive species, and how to enhance habitats as well as your own yard with native plants. Theresa is founder and principal of Blue Flax Design. She freely shared her knowledge, so all proceeds from the walk could benefit HCT’s land protection work including the meadow restoration at Pleasant Bay Woodlands. HCT volunteer Gerry Beetham took great photos as usual. Please enjoy his photos in the gallery below. See you out on the trails!
