Native & Invasive Plant Walk with Theresa Sprague

Photo by Nancy Graupner & Jim Stefely
To explore the Pleasant Bay Woodlands, Theresa Sprague led a walk on Sept. 8th to share her expertise about native and invasive plants. Wandering along old cartpaths and woodland trails, she talked about how invasive plants disrupt our native plants and habitats, how to control specific invasive species, and how to enhance your own yard with native plants. Theresa is founder and principal of Blue Flax Design. We thank her for sharing her knowledge and directing all proceeds from the walk to benefit HCT’s land protection work including the meadow restoration at Pleasant Bay Woodlands. Thank you also to HCT volunteers Nancy Graupner and Jim Stefely who shared their photography talent. Please enjoy their photos in the gallery below. See you out on the trails!
