June 25, 2019: Volunteer Trail Work in Bell’s Neck
To register:
To volunteer with trail trimming work in Bell’s Neck on Tuesday, June 25th (9:00 – 11:00 a.m.), please email: events@harwichconservationtrust.org.
We will email you registration confirmation and include directions.
About this volunteer activity:
With summer comes a proliferation of new plant growth, so it’s time to trim the trails again. Please join Ben Cockrell, our AmeriCorps Cape Cod member for a morning of trail work at the Town of Harwich Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands on Tuesday, June 25th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
We will have gloves, loppers and other hand tools available, but please bring your own work gloves and tools, if you wish. No experience with trail maintenance is necessary, but please be prepared with water, and for potential exposure to biting insects and poison ivy. Depending upon maintenance needs, we may cover up to 2 miles of trail during the work session.
