June 21st Dragons and Damsels Field Class Gallery

On the bright and sunny morning of Tuesday, June 21st, naturalist Peter Trull taught the first Dragons & Damsels Field Class at Mother’s Bog Conservation Area. Participants spotted a variety of dragonflies and damselflies, plus other insects, birds, and even a pickerel! They learned about the life stages of these winged jewels as they watched many colorful adult odonates zip across the bog.
