July 28th Red River Beach Birding Walk
Sunny skies and a light breeze welcomed birders of all experience levels to Red River Beach this morning for a shorebird walk with Peter Trull. They saw 24 species while exploring seaside and marsh habitats, including observations of the secretive saltmarsh sparrow. Also spotted was a large flock of semipalmated sandpipers, snowy egrets, and a great egret.
