Botany Walk at Cold Brook Nature Preserve
Sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust (HCT), join environmental reporter Rich Eldred for a walk through HCT’s Cold Brook Nature Preserve. Join the Cane Gang at Bells Neck Conservation Lands

Shorebird Walk
Sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust (HCT), join Town of Harwich Assistant Conservation Agent Nicki Smith to learn about nesting shorebirds (piping plovers and terns), their nesting habits, life cycle, and why these are important species. In addition to the plovers and terns, watch for other birds such as sandpipers as you enjoy a beach walk along Nantucket Sound. Nicki graduated with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology and was a shorebird monitor on Cape for three seasons.
