Walk leader Don Wilding, author of three books about Cape Cod history, including “Shipwrecks of Cape Cod: Stories of Tragedy & Triumph” released this year, will also explore some of the dramatic storms from the “Portland Gale” of 1898 to the Blizzard of ’78,” and their effects on the shifting sands of the Outer Beach. This guided walk in the National Seashore is cosponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust and Eastham Conservation Foundation.
