Join Naturalist Andrea Higgins with your 0-2 year old in a wrap, sling, front pack or backpack and explore the conservation lands in Harwich. Meet other parents/caregivers with babies in backpacks on the trails. Wearing your little one in a pack makes walking, hiking and connecting with other like-minded folks both possible and fun. Let's enjoy introducing our newest community members (your Newbies in Nature) to the great outdoors, the beautiful conservation lands in Harwich, and to our friends, our families, and our community.
Each week we will explore a different conservation area together:
Tues., Nov. 2nd (11-12:30)-Muddy Creek Headwaters Preserve
Tues., Nov. 9th (11-12:30)-Coy's Brooks Woodlands
Tues., Nov. 16th (11-12:30)-Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve
Tues., Nov. 23rd (11-12:30)-Bell's Neck Conservation Lands
Tues., Nov. 30th (11-12:30)-Cornelius Pond Woodlands
Each walk is $10 per caregiver with kiddo in a carrier or $45 for 5 walks.
