Spring is in full swing on Cape Cod in early May as flowers bloom and leaves begin to unfurl, painting the landscape in a brilliant mosaic. Please join naturalist Tom Walker for a Flowering Tree and Shrub ID Field Class at Coy’s Brook Woodlands to observe and learn about our native flora as they awaken, rejuvenated by the warming sun and April showers. Examine the differences in flower structure between species and discover other methods for identifying woody plants before they sprout their characteristic summer leaves.
