This guided walk is sponsored by HCT and Eastham Conservation Foundation. We will meet at the Doane Rock Parking Area in Eastham to begin our adventure, admiring the largest glacial erratic in Massachusetts! Briefly learn about how glaciers formed Cape Cod before heading out on the trails to experience woods, marshes, barrier beaches, and the Atlantic Ocean. Fall in love with Cape Cod all over again as we admire some of the best and most stunning views around.
This is a higher intensity walk given the varying terrain through wooded trails and the distance hiking over very soft sand. The tides may create muddy and squishy trails. This hike will last about 2 hours and will cover 2.5-3 miles.
