Please join QiGong instructor Andrea Belford of Cape Cod QiGong (capecodqigong.org) to connect in nature. QiGong is the ancient Chinese practice of cultivating life force energy. With an emphasis on the five elements of nature (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water), we will follow a series of slow and gentle movements combining proper posture, healthy breathing, and mindfulness. This helps us achieve and maintain health, healing, and vitality of the body, mind, and spirit.

By practicing QiGong outside and moving our bodies with nature, we increase our awareness of the profound energetic relationship with everything and everyone around us. This deepened connection with our surroundings cultivates a stronger connection with our inner nature so we may feel more at peace.

Please join us at a Harwich Conservation Trust Preserve for this QiGong practice followed by a gentle stroll through forested trails. Enjoy this article to give you a sense of what Qi in nature is like!
