Summer is here, which means it’s time to see fireflies! Join HCT volunteer walk leader and photographer Gerry Beetham at the Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve for a twilight/nighttime stroll along the half-mile All Persons Trail loop.

Learn about the firefly life cycle and why you hardly see them anymore. What are the threats to their populations? What can you do to help? Hopefully we’ll see their bioluminescence light up the restored wetlands and surrounding woodlands at this unique wildlife sanctuary in the heart of Harwich Port.
