
Celebrate Birdability Week – Birding for All Program
9:00 am - 10:30 am
Experience a leisurely birding exploration along the 0.5-mile wheelchair accessible loop trail at the Cold Brook Preserve. Our pace will be slow to take in the sights and sounds of birds and wildlife. Birders of all levels and abilities are welcomed. Binoculars are encouraged but not required.
The trail passes through wetland & stream habitats, making it an ideal location for a variety of passerines, hawks and waterfowl.
Amenities and Accessibility Features include:
- Van accessible parking, surface is paved with no curbs
- Service animals are welcomed. Note: this location is also dog-friendly
- Trail surface is hard-packed soil & crushed stone
- Trail is flat, with no steps or gates
- (2) bench stops exist along the 0.5-mile trail
