Please join us for Birding Field Classes in August led by naturalist and author Peter Trull.
As the summer wanes, Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands becomes an important stopover site for migrants as they begin preparations for their upcoming journeys. Along with the local marshland and woodland nesters, the area affords a diversity of migrant bird life from many taxonomic families: herons and egrets, terns and gulls, sandpipers and plovers, waterfowl, and songbirds.
Birding enthusiasts from all experience levels are welcome. Please bring binoculars.
This Birding Field Class is part of a series that also takes place at Red River Beach and the Cold Brook Preserve. Check the Calendar for dates and locations.
