Get outside and enjoy the sun’s warming rays with Birding Field Classes led by naturalist and author Peter Trull at the Cold Brook Preserve, Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands, and Red River Beach. Observe, identify, and learn about the behaviors and habits of the songbirds, waterbirds, and birds of prey that wash over the Cape this time of year. In April, the days grow longer which prompts an increase in bird migration. Avian activity will soar as birds search for mates and nest sites, creating a lovely chorus of birdsong as courting begins.

Peter will record all species seen and HCT will email the birding recap to all participants. Please join us for these two-hour field classes in birding and natural history. This will be a true learning experience.
