Bird Identification & Natural History Field Classes
8:00 am - 10:00 am
Join field naturalist and author Peter Trull for a Birding Field Class to dive into the lives of birds. We’ll observe the unique habits and features of each species spotted, ranging from songbirds to herons to raptors to waterfowl. Fall migration is an exciting time to spot interesting species. Perhaps some you’ve never seen before.
These walks/classes will build your birding identification skills and confidence while teaching about a variety of bird species, their life histories, and their interrelationships across different habitats. Birding enthusiasts from all experience levels are welcome. Please bring binoculars.
This walk is part of a series that takes place at Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands, the Cold Brook Preserve, Red River Beach, and the Harwich Community Gardens. Click “Reserve Your Spot” for location details.
