The variety of habitats at Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands offer the opportunity to observe a diversity of bird life. Along with the local marshland and woodland nesters, the area also hosts migrant bird life from many taxonomic families: herons and egrets, terns and gulls, sandpipers and plovers, waterfowl, and songbirds. Join field naturalist and author Peter Trull to immerse yourself in the life of birds. Learn how to identify local residents as well as summertime visitors, and study the multitude of ways different bird species utilize these habitats within their own niche.
