August 11th Dragons and Damsels Adventure
On Thursday morning, August 11th, naturalist Peter Trull introduced an eager group of outdoor enthusiasts to the colorful world of odonates on a Dragons and Damsels safari at Sand Pond Woodlands. In addition to spotting late summer species, there was a recent emergence of ruby meadowhawk dragonflies, with at least 12 individuals spotted.
