April 28th Woods of the Seven Ponds Hike
On Friday, April 28th, local historian Mark McGrath guided participants on a hike through the seven ponds area of Wellfleet on an adventure sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust and Wellfleet Conservation Trust. They explored this unique region where Bauhaus architects, including Gropius, Breuer, and others, designed their “modern” yet inexpensive summer homes and enjoyed idyllic beach lifestyles.
