An Early Winter Cold Brook Birding Adventure

A great group of birders, nature-lovers, and photographers gathered at the Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve on Thursday, December 8th for a birding walk with naturalist Peter Trull. They enjoyed nice observations of yellow-rumped warblers and yellow-shafted northern flickers. A welcome surprise was spotting three dovekies flying overhead as they traveled from the bay to the sound.
